sawyer & scout harry potter cluster necklace

So I'm a little bit of a Harry Potter fanatic. Anyone who knows me in real life knows that a gift of the Harry Potter kind is up my street. My brother bought this necklace for me for my birthday and it is absolutely lovely!

It's from a company called Sawyer & Scout that sells jewellery and accessories. They also do collections based on Harry Potter, The Hunger Games and the Divergent series. This particular necklace however contains a small cluster of all things Harry Potter; lightning bolt, wand, golden snitch, Gryffindor charm and a Philosopher Stone. All coming together on a bronze coloured chain. 

I've already got my eye on a Hunger Games themed necklace already. Oh stop me before I put everything in my basket!!!!

harry potter studio tour

*SPOLIERS* Do not read any further if you don't want to know the magic of the tour

When I was in London at then end of November, the whole trip was revolved around visiting the Harry Potter Studios. Oh my giddy aunt, it was brilliant! Above are just a few of my favourite pictures from the tour. 

We arrived at the studios from Watford Station on the tour bus and made our way to start our tour. It was already amazing and I think I let out a yelp when the doors to the Great Hall swung open. Me and my friend perused at our own leisure, oggling at the props and sets. I'm so glad we went at the time we did because there was a chill in the air and the skies were clear which made for a great atmosphere!

We stopped for a little respite and indulged in a little Butterbeer. It did not taste like what I thought it would be. For all you curious folk, it tasted like cream soda with melted marshmallow on top. T'was a strange combination! 

We spent a good amount of our time skipping around the gift shop and popping all sorts of memorabilia in our basket. I ended up purchasing a chocolate frog, other choccy bits, Hermione's wand and a Time Turner. On the journey home, I must have protected my bag like it was my life!

If you're a Harry Potter fan, I thoroughly recommend that you visit the studio tour and save a substantial amount of money to spend in the gift shop ^_^

Felix Felicis Liquid Luck

Ok, Harry Potter fangirl moment...but how cute is this necklace? I had been eyeing up this necklace on ebay for the longest time ever and I finally took the chance and bought it because who doesn't need a little luck in their life?

If you have read the Harry Potter books then you will instantly know what this is, and if you haven't...then go read them now! This cute little vial contains 'liquid luck' with lots of lovely gold glitter and a little wooden stopper. I really love the details in this necklace like the little four leaf clover and leaf like design. The chain itself is well made and is about 49cm long. I can't wait to wear this quaint little piece of jewellery and the little magpie within me is a happy person!

This seller was very good, it came boxed and arrived very quickly. The seller also has other Harry Potter themed jewellery in their store so I'd thoroughly recommend taking a quick look if you're interested.
